Principled flexibility

At Keylane, we know that the World is dynamic, and that we must be flexible towards customers, new ideas and each other. Nevertheless, we still insist on our commitment to a few basic principles, describing how we work. This way, nobody gets disappointed or confused, when things are moving fast.

If these principles warm your heart, you will love working at Keylane:

1.     WE CREATE PRODUCTS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
We may be nerdy about our solutions, but we work to create results for our customers. That’s why we strive to create complete and finished products – not just temporary solutions. In the same way, we work to help our customers make more money – not just because making clever solutions is fun.

2.     YOU ARE THE ENGINE INSIDE KEYLANE
At Keylane, we take hold of our own projects, job, and future. Each and every one of us must define what we can contribute to the projects, and each and every one of us must take responsibility for solving the challenges we choose – either by ourselves or by proactively finding the colleague that can solve the problems at hand. The only thing we do not do is sit down and wait – even for a manager, a friend or a miracle to occur.

3.     WE CHALLENGE EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE
We are all experts within our fields. But that doesn’t mean that we cannot improve – just like our solutions can always become better, smarter or faster. That’s why we constantly challenge our own solutions as well as the solutions of our colleagues, just like we challenge our customers, so we make sure they get the best solution every time.

4.     FLAT – BUT NOT DEFLATED – ORGANISATION
At Keylane, the expert is God. That’s why our organisation is flat and informal, allowing the person with the best skills to solve the problem at hand. We also love people with a wide set of competences and a will to tap into new areas of expertise. That’s how we make the most of all worlds.

5.     AGILE – AND UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
We are agile, we work agile and we think even more agile. Therefore, we work in small “sprints” and constantly evaluate what the next and smartest move is. Being agile takes courage and overview. But we have no problem starting a project without a finished plan or daring to present half-finished work – even to the customer. We share everything with them anyhow – from beginning to end!
